What We Collect

When you log in with Instagram, we request the following permissions:

• instagram_business_basic — to identify your account (user ID and username)
• instagram_business_content_publish — to publish posts to your Instagram feed on your behalf

Through these permissions, we receive:

• Your Instagram User ID and username
• Your account type (Business or Creator)
• An access token to publish posts on your behalf

We do not access your followers, messages, likes, or any other private data beyond what is listed above.

How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and keep you logged in
• To publish posts to your Instagram account when you request it
• To schedule posts for future publishing at a time you choose

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than providing the scheduling service.

Cookies

We use a single encrypted session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie contains only your internal session identifier and does not track you across other websites. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

Data Storage

Your access token, user ID, and post data are stored in a secure, encrypted database hosted on Neon (PostgreSQL). We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists on aftr.space. When you delete your account or revoke access from Instagram, your data is permanently removed from our systems.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by:

• Clicking "Delete Account" in your dashboard — this immediately removes all your data and posts
• Revoking access from Instagram Settings > Apps and Websites — this triggers automatic data deletion via our callback
• Contacting us directly at the email below

Third-Party Services

This app uses the Instagram API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of Instagram is subject to Instagram's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

The app is hosted on Vercel and uses Neon for database services. No user data is shared with these providers beyond what is required for hosting and storage.
